Thank you to our Chair, Jo and Trustee Lisa who sourced so many wonderful festive gifts for our 2023 Christmas Fair, and to ALL our of volunteers who came in and manned the stalls.  It really was an enjoyable few days.   If you are interested in Volunteering in our Coffee Shop (by the East Entrance) or for events like these then please get in touch!

In East Surrey’s halls, ‘neath twinkling light,
Volunteers gathered, spirits bright.
Christmas Fair of joy, a festive affair,
Heartwarming moments, in the air.

Crafted ornaments, treats so sweet,
Tables adorned, a joyful feat.
Smiles exchanged, goodwill aglow,
A community’s spirit in each little throw.

Gifts flew off, like dreams taking flight,
Festive treasures found homes that night.
Laughter echoed, a harmonious sound,
In this ‘table-top’ space where joy is found.

Patients, visitors, volunteers and staff,
A heartfelt thank you, to all who’d show.
Generosity overflowed, a river wide,
£1700 raised, a shared guide.

To every soul who stopped on by,
Purchased a gift, shared a joyous sigh,
You made this fair a grand success,
A community united, no less.

Now, as twinkling lights begin to fade,
The spirit of giving, in hearts ingrained.
East Surrey’s warmth, a beacon so bright,
Guiding us through the silent night.

The Volunteers, with gratitude sincere,
Look to the future, another festive year.
May the echoes of this joyous cheer,
Resound through hearts, far and near. 🌟
