The Friends of East Surrey Hospital were delighted to welcome Rebecca Paul, the Conservative MP for Reigate to the hospital in June.  It was a wonderful opportunity for her to meet with our Chair, Jo Sadler and Trustee, Tarn Shannon to discuss the work The Friends do to support the hospital, staff and patients.

Rebecca spent time visiting our shop at the East Entrance – which is where most of our funds are raised, and run by our dedicated team of volunteers – and to learn about our projects, which include grants to fund patient wheelchairs, supplying radios to the wards, as well as visiting our beautiful hospital gardens which are managed by the hospital volunteers.

We’re very proud of the work we do, which allows us to fund projects around the hospital and it’s a pleasure to be able to show members of the community and Parliament!
