🎶 Bringing Music to Every Ward

Friends of East Surrey Hospital fund 171 new bedside radios for patients.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, 171 new radios have been delivered to wards across East Surrey Hospital!

These radios, funded entirely by the proceeds of the Friends of East Surrey Hospital shop at the East Entrance, will give patients the chance to enjoy their favourite stations — including our very own Radio Redhill, the hospital’s dedicated station.

Music and familiar voices can make a big difference to a patient’s stay — helping lift spirits, reduce stress, and bring a little bit of home comfort to the bedside.

A huge thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, or supports the Friends — your kindness helps us continue to fund projects like this that brighten patients’ days. 💙
